Yes, you will send for REALbasic just strings.

REALbasic keep them in UTF8 or any other encoding.

V4RB pluging will convert them to UTF16.
This is possible for ANY encoding.


Storage on disk is other question.
There is no final decision yet.
May be we will allow assign on a field option how to store it on disk.
We need check what is better.
