[SJHS-Swim] Regional Swim Meet this Friday, February 10, 2012

Good Morning Everyone,

This Friday, February 10th, is the Regional Swim Meet. It is at the Freedom Center. Warmups start at 12 noon and the meet starts at 2 p.m. We only have a few members of the team that will be swimming in it but the coach is taking all of the swimmers to the meet. Our team has been asked to furnish some volunteers for the meet. If you would be able to fill one of the positions please let me know. There will be three shifts and each position is for one shift only. We can state a preference for shift but they will be assigning those shifts so they may or may not be able to honor our requests.  Here are the positions needed:

Five Timers:

5.

Runner or Awards/Ribbons Person:
1.

Safety Marshal:
1.

Gym Monitor:
1.

3.

Our team will be assigned a place in the gym to relax and hang out unless swimming or cheering a swimmer. They have asked us to have an adult with the team in the gym throughout the meet. That is the gym monitor position I have listed.

Since the team will all be there we need parents to help with food for them because it will be a long day. We were thinking possibly water, gatorade and some other type of snack like fruit, veggies, granola bars. Mrs. Thornburg plans to get some sandwiches. Please let me know if you could take any of those things for the team.
