
<html><head></head><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space; ">Since using 4.5 ValentinaEscape seems to need utf8 encoded strings. Is this by design or a bug?<div><br></div><div>I have had an error message that some data couldn't be added to the database. When I checked I saw that the data to be added was Macintosh encoded and ValentinaEscape made a nice star character with a question mark out of a e with accent. After changing the string to utf8 I could add data just fine. Since I always check with accented characters this must be some new issue.</div><br><br><div>
