Hello, Christian

No, it is still possible to work with Valentina via Xojo DB API.

But, if you don't need it (or license doesn't allow it in your case), it is
possible to disable it.
This is covered in the following document:

Just create an empty file with name "*DisableRBDB*"*,* without an extension,
 in the Xojo folder.

For example, on OS X it can be easily done using Terminal.app with the
following command:

*$ touch "**/Applications/Xojo 2015 Release 4.2/**DisableRBDB"*
