Must I recreate a new account ?

After creating an account and uploading my image I tried to log in again and got this lovely message:

Warning
Login denied! Your account has either been blocked or you have not activated it yet.
You do not have permission to view this resource. Please contact the Site Administrator.

This was with my username. Then I tried with my email address and got:

Warning
Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.

I do create  a new log on at least once a week and haven't had any problems like that so far. Please sort this out!
