I did not note this letter on list.

It seems we have agree that Maria is replacement of mySQL
At this at current moment.

For example, not so far wikipedia have switch from mySQL to MariaDB.
We waiting for your findings :)


BTW, may be somebody else have already MariaDB installed to check ?
