Yes, actually we now think to switch our mySQL plugin's
client library 
  from Drizzle library with BSD license,
  to MariaDB client library...


But we not sure yet, because we must get yet answer on:

* if MariaDB is going be future compatible to Oracle's mySQL ?
 

BTW, why you ask?  Vstudio is not able now connect to MariaDB?
They are not compatible to mySQL protocol?
