Problems running php extension from browser

Hi Bart

 

Thanks for help. But I use php under Windows. I believe I miss a global
variable because the script runs fine from command prompt but connection to
db fails if running in browser. In phpinfo I see only a handful of variables
set in browser but dozens in command line execution.
