DB folder is not a good choice,
Because your app can open 10 dbs from 10 folders.

 APP folder is the only single clear location.

When VSERVER, Vstudio works they get vlogs in APP folder.
Natural ...

For REALbasic developers it differes also then in Livecode,
Because RB builds tmp APP in folder where is project,
So logs also here ...

We have give way to developers, assign location of vlog folder.

In your PROJECT you can easy do something as  !!! Pseudocode

  set location of vlogs TO  location of prjoect file
