VServer Error on Ubuntu

Hi Sergey,

Yes, that is the goal.

I looked on the server and the vcomponents folder does not exist in /usr/local/lib.

Can I manually create the folder and copy the file from /opt/VServer/lib?

I installed VServer via dpkg. I’m getting ready to leave for my day job, but I will try to check my email later.

Best Regards,
Johnny Harris

So the goal is to run Xojo web application on this Linux server.
Then you need to check, if /usr/local/lib/vcomponents contains libvshared_release_x86.so.550.

It should be there, if you installed v4rb_5_lin.deb package.

  Hi Sergey,

  I’m running Ubuntu 32bit 12.04.3 and Valentina Server 5.5.

Valentina Server seems to be running fine. I have no problems connecting to the server with VStudio or a .Net app.

I get the error when I try starting the Xojo web app on the server. The Xojo app is compiled as standalone.

  Kind Regards,
  Johnny Harris

  Hi, Johnny

I didn't get such error after installation.

What version of Ubuntu are you using?
How do you run VServer application?

  Best regards,

    Hi Everyone,

I’m trying to start an Xojo web app connecting to VServer. I’m getting the following error when trying to launch the app:

“The application cannot continue because a needed file cannot be installed. libvshared_release_x86.so.550: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory”

I’ve checked the /opt/VServer/lib folder and the file does exist.

Has anyone else ran across this error?

    Kind Regards,
    Johnny Harris
