The db is badly damaged and there is no common way to restore it because it depends on how much and what sort of data is on that damaged segments. In some cases it is possible (pretty tricky way) to cure such a db with minimal losses.

Starting from 5.0 db-journal is used to prevent such a problems - so db will be restored automatically on the last "committed" (consistent) state.
