1) yes, so far no answer on RB forum ...

Aha, then I think I see how to .

REALbasic can do printing of pictures ...
REAL own reports produce Page by Page and then draw it to Graphics device.


But our major user of Valentina Reports, believe that PDF is very important
and the most comfortable format, because it looks the same on all platforms,
it prints the same and looks the same on WEB also ...

Also, as I have told Valentina Reports can generate PDF with embedded XML
data ...

Well, story is next.

Valentina Studio right now uses cross-platform C++ GUI framework wxWidget.

Right after 5.0 we want do fast switch to QT framework.

Both these frameworks have printing ... And we going implement this in
Valentina Studio itself with nice dialogs...

But in ADKs we use our VREPORT.dll,  which is not linked on that frameworks,
because it is just engine, without any GUI ...

Igor says that we can extract some code from WX/QT into vreport ...
WE need investigate this ...

And frankly saying it is surprise for us, that REALbasic have so weak
printing features ... Most probably this will take few weeks.
