Hello all,

We recognize the importance of Mac developers to be able to deploy their
applications through the Mac App Store. 

If some portion of Valentina causes submissions to be rejected, we will do
our best to find a solution. Please keep in mind the following -

- Some issues that get reported are a result of an implementation problem,
not a bug. In fact, most of them are. The first thing we do is try to figure
out if that is the case (unless its something obvious that jumps out at the
developers).

- ADK implementations are defined by OS and development environment. Before
considering requirements of sales venues, we have to ensure that our ADKs
are working with the latest OS and also dealing with any changes that might
come from the development environment provider.

- The Mac App Store is a recent and changeable phenomenon, and what we get
back from them is not always consistent with the very long relationship
we've had with Apple to date. It might surprise you to know that Apple
engineers have been responsive to our requests before, but those folks are
not the same at the guardians of the Mac App Store. It isn't an additional
guardian at the bridge, it's a new guardian *beyond* the bridge (at the pit
of punji sticks).

App Store rejections that appear to come from Valentina are going to be
resolved, but please appreciate that it happens as fast as the slowest link
in the process. You shouldn't jump to the conclusion that we are giving up
when we may simply be momentarily "gatekept" by some step in resolving the
problem.
