odd indexed string behaviour?

hi ruslan,
that worked - thank you.

i have a lot of string data to distribute (~188 chars of ascii 34 - 127) and smallest possible db size is extremely important.

does this mean i can only use utf16 for the db?
if so, why does the option exist in the adk (and vstudio) to specify utf8 for storage encoding?
will utf8 be supported or should i look for something else?

many thanks,
george

What is in UTF8 encoding?
database itself?

It should be only UTF16.
