V4RB 4.9.1 problems on Windows

I am the original poster of the message with the problem. Eventually I had to revert to 4.8.1, the version I was using before updating to 4.9.1
My problem is worse than what is exposed in the message since I had crash problems on Mac OS as well. :-/ I guess v5 will fix all those problems,
