get_Table(String) issues

When I open up a database locally the get_Table(String) funtion on
I_Database returns a I_TableI_Ptr and all is well.  But, when I am connected
to an embeded server and make the same call, it returns NULL.  If I call
GetTableByID() with the id of that table it works in either mode.  Am I
missing something?
