Well, expected way is:

1) first login  and may be more using  sa/sa

2) then you can add new users write in SchemaEditor
    Create New user   -> Dialog   -> enter name / passw


3) you can try also after sa/sa login  do
    SHOW USERS 

To see what happens with your user ...
