Case-insensitive searches with Lion

I have another case in Turkey. I am talking to the people affected with the problem, getting screenshots of their system settings but I don't see anything particular that could cause this. I have 3 customers so far with this issue, one in Germany, one in Spain and one in Turkey. The Spanish and turkish clients are using their system in English.

Do you have found the source of this problem? I am sure dozens of clients of mine have the problem but have not reported it yet.
