Readonly databases

Hi,

I just realized, that vdb is behaving very strange, wenn the 
readonly-attribute is set on the vdb-file.

A simple sql-select like cur=vdb.sqlselect("select * from tbl1 order by f1") 
is just returning an empty cursor. No error.

How is this possible? When I remove the readonly-attribute it works fine again 
and my select returns the expected data.

Does Valentina always needs write-acces to the database?
