Question About Segment Errors

I'm also always flush after every write. And at least some of these corruptions are occurring with no crashing on the applications part.

Segment errors are the most common database problem my users report 
(and yes, I always flush after a write). Are you saying these will go 
away in 5.0? That would be great.
