V4RB 4.6 not opening 4b2 database

I see the problem is more severe than I had thought. When I create a 
new database with 4.6 the the table isn't actually being generated. 
Here's what I have used for several years in the Constructor for one 
table:


   Super.Constructor(inStorageType)
   prefs = new boPreferences


When I use Valentina Studio to examine the database that was created, 
there in no table 'prefs'.
