Then you have misunderstood me

v1  cannot be corrupted. This must be YOUR ORIGINAL STRING in REV !!

  v1 = SOME STRING 
   curs.fld = v1      <<<<<< you give this string to VDB

  v2 = curs.fld      <<<<<<< and immidiatly GET IT BACK.


COMPARE now v1 and V2
