AW: Problems with Umlaute in 4.7

Hi Ivan,

in VStudio all Umlaute are shown correct
I don't use any special Font setting (standard Tahoma) AND I have nothing
changed in my code, just installed Version 4.7
Now with version 4.7 I neither can't show the Umlaute, nore I can't SELECT
them

Perhaps it is related to my originally problem in Version 3.5, where the
Umlaute where still shown correct, but as soon I made a select * from
begriffe where begriff_name like '%ä%' (single quotes) no record was
selected. Where all other records without Umlaute where SELECTED correct
with the same SELECT routines.
With the originally Problem I also have nothing changed in any of the DB
related statements. It "came over night" (perhaps with any update of MacOS)

I also tested it with different versions of Rev. Only the old standalone
builds before April 2010 still work correct.

Is there perhaps any equivalent for "Macintosh" for the IOEncoding, which I
could test?

I am totally helpless, my customers asks me what is going on that a german
dictionary doesn't work any more with Umlaute
Thanks for any help
Tiemo
