OK :-)

Well, it's probably most accurate for me to say this:

Schema modification, dumping, some data browsing, data deletion via
VStudio on Vista

Single table inserting via V4REV on Vista, multiple table inserting
(+linking) via SP via V4REV on Vista.

Basically, I am trying to do as much as possible through VStudio,
since in theory it should not allow me to do something that would
bring about an inconsistency in the schema or data.

I had thought the crashes in VStudio might have been caused by either
VStudio or V4Rev not closing a connection to the db. However, V4Rev
interactions never crash. It is always VStudio.

And just to further remove suspicion that V4Rev is involved. I opened
some of the older versions of the db using VStudio this morning. Rev
has not been started today. VStudio crashed as soon as I opened the
data browser to look at a table. I re-started VStudio and this time
it allowed me to browse that same table without crashing.

Unless VStudio can be produce some kind of debug log, I don't see how
you're going to get to the bottom of this.

Bernard
