Old vserver version breaks

I've had an instance of vserver 3.5.2 running on PowerPC hardware (Mac OS X Server 10.4.?) for a long time, and water damage in our office required me to move to newer hardware (Intel, Mac OS X Server 10.6.2). At first attempt, vserver 3.5.2 fails to start, logging a bus error.

Is there a quick answer to this? Does 3.5.2 not run on Intel hardware? Did OS X upgrades after 3.5.2 break VServer? If so, is there a simple fix?

It wouldn't be the end of the world for me to get me head back in the client code and upgrade my RB project to use a current version of VServer...but I'm also interested in getting the whole business up and running today...if I can.

Thanks.
