Diagnose Verbose Levels

What is the proper syntax for setting verbose levels on the diagnose call.

Works fine with limited info:
vDbase.sqlExecute("diagnose database")

Does not work:
vDbase.sqlExecute("diagnose database, verbose_level = high")
vDbase.sqlExecute("diagnose database verbose_level = high")
vDbase.sqlExecute("diagnose database [verbose_level = high]")

Need to give user choice of feedback.
