I will check it now - readme and instructions - I thought I did the
changes there.

Regarding setup procedure - you did it right - just copy V4Rev.so into
~/my_LiveCode/Externals.
http://www.valentina-db.com/download/beta/4.8b22/linux_32/v4rev_4_lin.tar.gz
indeed contains neither V4Rev.so
nor db driver.
I hope for new beta today with proper install package.
