If you've been reading any of the other responses here from the support
team,
you'd understand where I'm coming from.
i.e. their responses are incredibly hard to read and follow.
And are very short.

For me, there is no such thing as overly verbose responses.

I've already finished the deCrypter so no need for me to chase this down
anymore.
But would like some answers from Paradygm.

And there is nothing in there that looks like a likely candidate for 
user preferences?
What about the registry key at HKCU\Software\Paradigmasoft\Valentina 
Studio (Pro?)\SmartOpen
