SqlSelect doesnt wanna work

I am dealing with multiple open databases. I have a piece of lingo code
that opens one database. I have a sqlExecute that works fine on this
open database. Right after this, I am trying to run a sqlselect on same
database and that does not work at all. The program just doesn't do
anything; it just hangs. I have tried using everything I can think of. I
put in an alert for Valentina.lastError and it doesn't show anything. No
alert box pop at all.

Any ideas?
