I think speed is not because of size of app.

Keep in mind that 47MB of vcomponents folder, this is FEW dlls.
Also each DLL is in universal binary format, i.e. Contains PPC and Intel
codes.

So in fact OS loads in worse case only HALF of that size, i.e. 23MB.

Also e.g. (Vreport.dylib + wx.dylib = 19Mb) should be loaded from disk only
if your app will ask for reports.

Also vclient.dylib () is loaded and used only if you connect to vserver

If you talk about v2 or v3 or v4, then V4MD Carbon also use files from
vcomponents. They should be copied near to app like on windows.
