And the application package does have the vcomponents folder in it. I
see it when I view package contents. But since something went wrong and
I got all those error messages, it didn't complete the process
successfully.

Also, I installed the Mac developer Tools on this Mac while I was logged
in as the admin on it. So, it not having the mac developer tools is not
the reason either.

Hello,

I am trying to make a Universal binary build on the Intel-based Mac OSX
10.5.6 with Valentina 4.0.0 and I followed the instructions very closely
on
http://valentina-db.com/download/video_tutorials/v4md/deployment_mac_ub.
mov and even compiled the dir file on the mac.

It goes ok until the point where I try to install
/usr/local/lib/vcomponents inside my application package. Then I get
these error messages below and the app will not work if I rename
/usr/local/lib/vcomponents/ to /usr/local/lib/vcomponents222 so I know
for sure that running the install_vcomponents_v4md_v4 failed.

It seems as if something is wrong with the install_vcomponents_v4md_v4
script itself. Is it possible that this script was written for Power PC
based Macs and not for Intel based Mac? I am running all this on an
Intel based Mac.

Has anyone had this problem before? How do I fix it?

Good.

So that was third party Xtra.

Probably.

I remember that Xtras have resource fork,
And windows do not respect it.
