FYI,

I wrote a program some time ago to automate this process called
VInstaller. Once you install VInstaller and and drag VInstaller to
the dock, adding the vcomponents to the built application becomes
as easy as dragging and dropping the built application onto the
VInstaller program in the dock. Fast and easy.
