Install VComponents doesn't work

Hello,

wanted to do a build on my MacBook (10.5.1, Valentina 3.5.1), but
Install VComponents only gives errors like the following:

beatrix-willius-computer:~ beatrixwillius$ /Users/beatrixwillius/
Documents/current/Mail\ Archiver/misc\ Stuff/
INSTALL_VCOMPONENTS_V4RB_v3 /Users/beatrixwillius/Desktop/Mail\
Archiver\ X.app
mkdir: /Users/beatrixwillius/Desktop/Mail Archiver X.appContents: No
such file or directory
cp: /Users/beatrixwillius/Desktop/Mail Archiver X.appContents/
vcomponents: No such file or directory
cp: /Users/beatrixwillius/Desktop/Mail Archiver X.appContents/
vcomponents: No such file or directory
cp: /Users/beatrixwillius/Desktop/Mail Archiver X.appContents/
vcomponents: No such file or directory
cp: /Users/beatrixwillius/Desktop/Mail Archiver X.appContents/
vcomponents: No such file or directory
cp: /usr/local/lib/vcomponents/VSDK.framework: unable to copy
extended attributes to /Users/beatrixwillius/Desktop/Mail Archiver
X.appContents/vcomponents: No such file or directory
cp: /Users/beatrixwillius/Desktop/Mail Archiver X.appContents/
vcomponents/Versions: No such file or directory

The root cause for the problem seems to be a missing / between .app
and Contents, but I'm no shell script expert and wasn't able to edit
the script in a way that it's still recognized as a script. Is this
an Intel, Leopard or Valentina 3.5 problem?

The same script has worked flawlessly on my G5 with Tiger and
Valentina 3.4.
