Or what you mean with "SAVE BACK" ?
  
After GetPicture() picture still is in the database.
    no need save it back if you do not want change it.

This is READ of picture.

This is WRITE.

* Cursorrestorealbum_out -- this is Vcursor?

* So you change picture of the same record?

* Do you have UpdateRecord() after SetPicture() ?

* what version of V4MD you use?
