Tutorial for Revolution

I did the Valentina Tutorial for Revolution from the Valentina website
and after I am done nothing happens.

When you download the tutorial lesson-1 has six steps and they
provide six stacks showing the progression step by step.  Even
when I use Valentina's stack of step six I am not able to make it
add, delete records etc.

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?  Are some steps
missing in the tutorial?  I have Valentina installed properly
because the examples in the example stack work.
