[V4MD] Error instantiating Valentina XTRA

Hi,

Here's a bizarre one.  Valentina version 3.5.2 using Director 11 on XP.

On my Windows machine, I can instantiate the Valentina XTRA with no 
problem.  I do the following in the message window:

x = new(Xtra("Valentina"))
put x

I see:    <Xtra child "Valentina" 2 #######>      perfect!

However, when my client enters the exact same  line to instantiate 
the XTRA on their machine, and they get an error message:


Script Error:  Symbol expected

x = new(Xtra("Valentina"))

<Void>



I have made sure that they have the file V4MD.x32 inside the XTRAs 
folder of Director 11, exactly the same way I have it on my machine. 
(And they have restarted Director and their machine numerous times.)

Both of us do a:

put the xtralist

and we both find that the first entry in the list is:

[[#filename: "V4MD.x32, #version: "3.5.2"], ...

  The only difference that we can figure out is that I am running XP 
with Service Pack 2, and they have XP with Service Pack 3.

Thanks in advance for any ideas of what could be causing this - 
they're trying to release their product, and we are completely stuck.
