While all this sounds great there would be a rather simple solutions
I used with Sybase / Frontbase for several years. They logged all
create / alter Statements to a log file. I know the date of the last
changes of a specific server so I simply need to execute all logged-
statements starting with this date.
But on the other hand, in many, many times changing a structure means
changing data in this context, too. So I think a "database versioning
tool" must handle some more serious aspects.
