MAC - embedded server not starting automatically

Hello,

On MAC, after fresh install with the oem installer, emedded server  
doesn't start up automatically.
I know you have to restart the mac, but this still doesn't work. So  
for now I've been
manually starting it for the first time. Then, most of the time, it  
will auto start at computer
startup. Is this by design? Am I doing it wrong?
