LOL - yes that's exactly what I've been doing.
I feel the double quotes could have maintained backwards compatibility and I
would NOT have had to change the database structure (i.e. field names)

Well, how I can help here?
If you note most our examples suggest style as
tblPerson
fldFirstName
fldLastName
Follow this style, and you never will be catched,
and IMHO more easy to read
