Yes, I'm a master at process workarounds.  ;-)

In the same situation with data mine crashes vStudio on Load Dump
So you have to load dump into a new vdb:

Just close all databases, then Load Dump, and VStudio will ask what the new
vdb is named.

And start using the new one.

Whew!!

One warning.

All this merges of tables and fields work until you not use ObjectPtr or
Binarylinks.

For them we plan develop also XML-based procedure of dump and load linked
records from few tables with automatic adjusting of RecID and Ptr values.
