valentina studio crashes on text import

hello there,

i'm unable to import a csv file into valentina studio for conversion  
to a valentina table. the application just crashes, so i'm unable to  
figure out if there is an offending record. is there some way to  
debug or is there a preferred method of importing?

i have a csv file that i can open up in BBEdit and save as UTF8, mac  
line breaks, with .txt extension.
i then import the text file into a new database with UTF8 encoding.
BOOM!
