AFAIR (and this is very vague, ways to less sleep last night! - Btw.  
Ruslan it seems, that I solved my "theoretical" problem) is this the  
default "empty" value for RB. You can of course set a date variable  
to nil value, but "0000-00-00" was "difficult" - so I use internally  
(in the app) strings only now and have propriate getters and setters,  
but see intro I could totally wrong with this ?!?!?!
