In fact the simplest way is to check also ErrorString!
Try this.

If go by numbers only way --
    * you need convert this number into hex
    * go to Vcomponents/vresources/English/*.xml file
    * find that hex value here
    * read description of error

But again, many errors looks as
    Field with name %S is not found

So better read not in XML file, but runtime using
    VException.ErrorString
