V4MD 2 setPicture

I've tried various things but can't get setPicture to work (DMX2004, Win, 
authoring).

My code is:

on setCursorPicture me, cursor, fieldname, memberRef
  fldPicture = cursor.field(fieldname)
  fldPicture.setPicture(member memberRef, #kJPG, 75)
  updateRecord me, cursor
  flush me
end

I've passed in both the member name and a reference to the member, neither has 
worked.

I get an error code of 5, and the error string is empty.

If successfully used similar code to setMedia, setString, etc.
