Icons for Valentina DB

Hi List,

anybody been successful at creating a Valentina db document with a  
custom icon (in Realbasic) ?

I know I have to use SetMacTypes and pass the parameters

Q1: are these parameters limited to 4 characters ?
Q2: Do I have to define in Realbasic a filetype set with the same  
extensions and a custom icon ? Is this the link between SetMacTypes  
and custom icons ?


Help appreciated (this is taking much more time then anticipated)
