Secret is that when YOU register and YOU report issue,

Then when some of our developers add a NOTE into this issue
    then Mantis SEND TO YOU a letter.

Issue can get the whole history of such discussion.
It is clean and located in single place.

When issue is FIXED, you GET notification in the same minute.

Not bad, yes? :-)
