Field Encryption and VStudio

Hi List,

Am I right that I cannot encrypt (or decrypt) a field in a table with  
VStudio?

If I was to do it with for instance RealBasic and later on I want to  
use Vstudio on this table, what will happen?

Am I right in understanding that the encryptField method I only need  
to do this once ?
It will encrypt the column ?

So I cannot encrypt a field on a record by record basis, using a key  
that is different for each record?

More questions to come, but let's first see the response on this :-)
