On that wiki page you can see 6 ways for refactoring.

Valentina currently have implemented one -> Convert RDB link.
    FK to ObjectPtr.

In fact with some efforts you self can implement any way.

Just in ideal of course this should be inside of engine for best speed and
universal access API and SQL.
