Primary Key vs RecID

I'm thinking to create my own primary key for a specific table because I
need to associate a file to a record. I was about to use the RecID as a base
name for the file, but the link would be broken after a refactoring
operation such as clone.

But that remains an exception. RecID remains the primary key in all other
tables.
