Is Valentina 2 for Director Backward compatible?

Dear Ruslan,
I have some more questions from my developer.
Can you provide us with information about the API differences, or is it
in some documentation you could point us to?
If the _basic_ functionality of Val2 is unchanged from Val1 (example:
there is a function in both you can call to execute a SQL query) but the
name of that function has changed in Val2, then perhaps finding and
updating those function calls in our Director code isn't too much of a
hassle. On the other hand if Val2 API and function is fundamentally
changed from Val1 then we have a problem.
We wanted to clarify this with you to present to client.
Thank you so much,
Tatyana

You need convert *existed* databases
IF you create new dbs using V2 then no problems.

Check our examples/common/convert_1_2
